Week 12 Lesson 27:THE END!

November 2, 2007

If there was a lesson 28 I think it would be nice to teach people to use torrents. It’s a type of program that most sites are starting to change their downloadable files into. Nowadays almost everything that you want to find (movies, books, musics) are in torrents for you to download and then extract to view them. I had taught my cousins to use torrents when they really wanted to find movies to watch on their computer. Normal searches will 90% of the time not show up the movies straight up as a movie file. You have to use torrents to download and get the actual files themselves out. I used torrents to download textbooks too. Also as for applications we did, I can extend the one that was about youtube. There’s another place now that’s just as good as youtube, called veoh. For youtube you cannot download the clips you want on your computer nor can you search for everything it has because of the random regulations on what types of videos can be shown. Veoh, however, let’s you download the clips and even full length movies and episodes. You can watch them using the program they asked you to download called VeohTV. It is really fun to use and better quality than youtube. This has been a great experience doing this program. Thanks for everything.
